Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers.
- Manage procurement budgets and cost-saving initiatives.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to minimize shortages or excess.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and performance.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Operations, Finance, Logistics) to ensure timely and accurate supply chain operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in procurement
workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market.
